My Madeira Cake

meddira cake.JPGThis classic, tasty recipe is perfect for any occasion. Hopefully you will love it as much as my family, including aunts, uncles and grandparents did.

You will need…

175g of butter (softened)

175g caster sugar

225g self-raising flour

50g flaked almonds

3 large eggs

Orange zest

Method…

  1. Preheat the oven to 180’C and grease a cake tin with baking paper.
  2. Measure all the ingredients, put them in a bowl and mix them together.
  3. Put your cake mix in your tin and put the tin in the oven for 30mins.
